Hello Dere...

In the inimitable words of the great comedian Marty Allen...hello were. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lje2iTxB1Ic

It's been a while. After my head exploded over the political campaigns' garbage ad nauseous it took several weeks for the experts to put it back together.

My grand kids - led by chief of staff Matthew,

were able to use their Elmer's super glue and now I am what medical science refers to as a hole-y whole, that is to say someone whose exploded head parts were reunited, albeit with a few new air vents.

While I recuperated, I had the company of two other patients pictured below. I find myself scratching behind my ears more now and have begun barking at political ads. Doctors say these are temporary side effects and will disappear as time passes, certainly no later than next November 7th.

Time will tell.

The Sunny Side of Hell

Well, we are here at last. The Supreme Court has ruled that Obamacare is constitutional. The Congress has held the Attorney General in contempt ( but lack the guts to prosecute him) and the White House has said they will protect the lying piece of dreck in any event.
Surely this great land of liberty sinks beneath the waves and count on this:
the annointed one will win re-election come November.
Americans are THAT stupid and removed from reality. I give up. My head has exploded.

But...perhaps all is not lost. At least you can die laughing. My latest book, The Sunny Side of Hell is now available along with my other books. I urge you to fly to this site:
http://www.barnesandnoble.com/s/s-p-moran?store=book&keyword=s.+p.+moran

and order multiple copies for friends, family, delivery men, you name it.
Keep those royalties coming. I will need the cash to pay for black market medicine after Obamacare removes me from the rolls.

We Are All Catholics Now

As the Federal government attempts to deny Catholics their religious freedom, at least some are fighting back. Over 40 lawsuits have been filed on behalf of  Catholic organizations against the anointed one's attempt to coerce the organizations to act against their consciences , by forcing them to provide for abortions and contraceptives in their health plans. It is heartening to see other Christian groups in sympathy with the Catholic resistance.
http://www.lifesite.net/news/evangelicals-respond-to-catholic-lawsuits-we-are-all-catholic-now

Of course our maximum leader, the anointed one, has no trouble kowtowing to the greatest mass murdering government in the world, China, which murders more of its helpless innocents than even  the good old US of A.

 http://www.catholic.org/international/international_story.php?id=46319

1500 abortions an hour. Atrocities forced on women whose only crime is to be a mother. Oh Hillary...Oh-bama, have you no shame? You are truly minions of Lucifer, Satan's spawn. And we gaily go along, intent on the next American idol and which Kardashian is going to get another breast implant.

If I am alive when our country sinks beneath the waves of history and into the bottomless pit, I will laugh till I cry.

For Screaming Out Loud

That's me looking in the mirror after reading this article. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/mark_rothko_painting_sold_for_record_r7BnN7cDbpmG9gAAtHR25K

I had forgotten how far the art of art had fallen in our modern and post modern times. I've seen better works of art while cleaning up after painting a room. Next time I paint I'll keep the old sheet I cover the floor with. Maybe cut out a piece of it and frame it.
The above article mentions the painting shown above, The Scream by Edvard Munch. At least you can tell what that painting is about. Unbelievably ( maybe not) The Scream is the second most recognizable painting in history after the Mona Lisa.
Now, that's what I call a work of art.

A post script to my last blog entry regarding Elizabeth Warren's claim to be 1/32 Cherokee which is even more hilarious than some people's taste in art. Check this out http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/05/08/Elizabeth-Warren-Ancestor-Trail-of-Tears

The Matrix

As Franz Fanon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frantz_Fanon  wrote, the power of cognitive dissonance is extreme. It keeps people comfortable and safe from threatening information. Most Americans find the government’s lies preferable to the truth. They don’t want to be unplugged from what one writer refers to as the Matrix, in homage to the movie of the same name.
http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/
The truth is too uncomfortable for emotionally and mentally weak Americans.
I have come to the conclusion that either I am crazy or we are doomed. Some choice to choose from. Time will tell which it is; of course both could be true and, then again, neither.
If I were a betting man through, I'd pick at least one and probably both.
Before we know it, election day will be here and we have two evils to choose from, just the way the masters of the matrix have arranged. It does not matter which candidate wins. We will continue to squander men, women, children and national treasure in foreign wars all in the name of forcing our version of democracy down the throats of people who want nothing to do with us.
We will continue to spend like drunken sailors (apologies to drunken sailors) and print Monopoly money (apologies to Monopoly) thereby shoving our posterity's future over a financial cliff and into the abyss.
All the while we drug ourselves with mindless entertainment and tawdry gossip and succumb to the propagandist drivel of phoney newsmen and political commentators.
Then, just as I am beginning to get depressed, some humorous relief falls from heaven like a gentle rain on a parched land. I read where the UN has issued a resolution calling for the federal government's Department of Interior, to return all Indian lands to the present day Native Americans, including Mount Rushmore.
I wonder if the Democrat's candidate for the Senate from Massachusetts, Elizabeth Warren, will claim a few acres. Seems she has claimed minority status since college days on the 'belief' she is 1/32 Cherokee. This belief is due to her grandma remarking to Elizabeth when Elizabeth was a wee toddler that some family members had high cheekbones "just like the Indians".
According to Elizabeth, as an adult she wanted to be liked so she started saying she was part Indian based on her grandma's remark.
Wanted to be liked?
How about wanted to milk the group right's system of rewards and rip off some affirmative action goodies as a 'minority'? Special preference in college admissions...special consideration in the government hiring process...bonus contracts in business dealings and banking issues...and so on.
Yet, I don't hear the media howling for her scalp.
Imagine if some true conservative was in the same situation?
I say: give it all back to the Indians. A bunch of unwashed, uneducated, unmannered redskins couldn't bollix it up any more than it already is.

And You Think You've Got It Bad

Nearly 2000 years ago today, at the afternoon witching hour of 3 o'clock, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, gave up the ghost and returned to the Father.
Moments earlier He had cried out "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"
The Son of God was on the verge of despair. The Son of God was crying out for relief. Then, He regained His composure and committed His Spirit into the hands of His Father.
Just hours before, He had asked His Father to "Take this cup away from Me." Take this un-Godly suffering from Me. I am the Son of God and what am I doing suffering in human form?
A great question.
Of course, we know and believe Jesus took on human form and died an ignominious death for us, to ransom our immortal souls from the captivity of Satan.
Each year at this time, I think of what Jesus did; I think of His words, His very human words and I feel heartened and inspired. After all, if the Son of God can experience moments of fear and trembling, moments of despair, then no wonder I can and who the hell am I to complain about the curve balls of life?
Just like the Son of God, I can gain strength knowing that the Father in Heaven is there for me and will not give me a cup of bitterness more than I can handle.
Just like the Son of God, I can look forward to the resurrection. I only hope the news I hear at the Last Judgement will make me happy I was resurrected.

Here We Go

Our roller-coaster has reached the crest and we are about to begin our hellish descent into the abyss of slave hood. Just to get you caught up on the latest, refer to http://www.prisonplanet.com/obama-executive-order-paves-the-way-for-nationalization-of-economy.html
We recline in a stupor and decline at break neck speed. Life is good, we squeal as we watch the latest episode of Jersey Shore or imbibe a fresh draft of American Idol. Let's go shopping...and why are the millionaires so rich...I deserve some of that loot...oh, take another pill and wash it down with good old boy Jack Daniels. What's there to worry about? What's the big deal? Life is sooooo good.

Duh!
And so it goes...our constitution and our freedom and liberties...our future, our very lives and all that we have left is our soul, and let's hope it's not too blackened like a peppered Louisiana catfish.
Our soul and whatever goodness it contains to summon the courage to combat the forces of darkness that continue their steady encirclement of our hearts and minds.
Let us put on the breastplate of righteousness and gird for battle! http://www.mercydrops.org/virtual/armorofgod/lesson3.htm
The great deceiver runs rampant and YOU laugh at your own peril.

Prepare the Millstone Necklaces

"But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea." Matthew 18:6

I wonder how many more times my head can explode before what brains I have left are mere dust.
It's bad enough that the sexual deviants have gone after college and high school students, now they take aim at middle-schoolers. And parents don't revolt. Parents and guardians allow the scandalizing  and corruption of their children to continue apace. We are all responsible, as Camus once said ,and God may very well damn us all to hell. We sit on our hands and look the other way as Satan's sexual perverts till the fields. Read the link for the latest abomination and then continue to read it for news of what happens to a faithful priest, Father Marcel Guarnizo, who stood up to a heretic and was punished by his coward and morally bankrupt Archbishop who fears the worldly minions of Lucifer more than he loves the truth of Christ. God damn that lowlife coward who abandons his flock and gives comfort to the enemy.
http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/abbott/120312

The devil is loose not only in the world, but in the very bowels of Christ's Church. Satan's smoke slithers through the incensed sanctuary. What are we to do while we wait for justice...while we wait for deliverance...while our head explodes yet again?

Time Out for Best Friends

Ah, Immanuel Kant,  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immanuel_Kant one of my favorite philosophers whose works I haven't read but whose words make for great quotes as in: "We can judge the heart of a man according to his love of animals." Perhaps he was considering the fact that animals are dumb and at the mercy of humans and any human who mistreated innocent animals could not be trusted when it came to human affairs, or maybe he just loved the way sunlight glistened off his goldfishes' scales. In any event, I do believe that as part of God's great creation, all animals are at the mercy of man and as such deserve our compassion. This is not to eliminate a good steak from the menu; just slaughter the fatted calf in as merciful way as possible.
As for the more domesticated animals like dogs and cats, let's make the most of their willingness to trust us and practice patience and generosity with them. Who knows, perhaps if we develop good habits with our pets those good habits will spread to our relationships with other humans.
Personally, I am a dog person, and not just because that's my Chinese astrological sign or because I smell everything before I eat it. There's just something about dogs.
"The dog knows but doesn't know that he knows." Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Teilhard_de_Chardin
That frog, I should say Frenchman, knew what he was talking about, at least when it came to dogs.
I don't know and don't know that I don't know.
Looking into the eyes of a dog one grasps the truth of de Chardin's observation. One can only hope in an afterlife where we are reunited with our pets and in the eternal ether of all knowing finally get to know one another and know that we know.
My head spins...My dogs Max and Augie are sometimes the cause of that spinning. But, more often than not they are a happy presence in my life and a reminder that all is not going to hell in a hand-basket. They look to me to quench their thirst and quiet their stomach's rumblings and provide a warm bed away from the lightening and thunder. When they hurt or are confused in fearful dread of that which they do not comprehend they come to me and lift a paw for consolation.
Maybe Albert said it best. "It doesn't matter if an animal can reason. It matters only that it can suffer and that is why I consider it my neighbor.
Albert, of course, is Albert Schweitzer, one of my favorite humans of all time.
See http://www.albertschweitzer.info/ for more info on this remarkable man. And don't miss his autobiography. It is a worthwhile reading experience. http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/out-of-my-life-and-thought-albert-schweitzer/1100423191?ean=9780801894121&itm=2&usri=albert+schweitzer

Little Augie is crying for his afternoon snack and Max is bouncing around in anticipation of his share and maybe, just maybe, he does know that he knows and ...
I have to go for now.

Forget the Past and Lose the Future

"The struggle of freedom against tyranny is the struggle of memory against forgetting." Milan Kundera

Our memories are fading and with them our traditions and beliefs. We slowly and inevitably succumb to the siren call of the State and its elite rulers. Supreme Court Justice ginsberg deems the Constitution irrelevant in this day and age and looks to the world community for guidance...dubbya bush refers to it as just a scrap of paper...obama and his henchmen at HHS order the Catholic Church to provide abortion in its employees' health insurance coverage...the State attack on our liberties continues unabated and except for a few brave hearts we flip channels for more stultifying diversions.
Now the department of Homeland Security - and what a hoot that title is - has issued warnings and guidelines to its minions to watch out for anyone who believes in conspiracies as they may be a terrorist. I kid you not. Check it out:
http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/according-to-a-new-dhs-report-if-you-love-individual-liberty-of-if-you-believe-in-conspiracy-theories-you-are-a-potential-terrorist
My head is about to explode.
Perhaps the Mayans were correct and the world will end later this year in December...right after the presidential election when the fate of America will hang in the balance.
Buckle up and get ready for the ride of your life.

On the Razor's Edge

Happy New Year and all that.
As someone once said, I was born too late into a world too old.
While it is true that hope springs eternal and where there is life there is hope, I fear the momentum of our swift descent into totalitarian hell and soon to be followed fall off the pages of history builds inexorably. A combination of ignorance, fear mongering and apathetic immersion in the warm and hypnotic waters of sensuous diversions have for all intents and purposes made it impossible for Americans to reverse cause.
And even if, miracle of miracles, enough of us came to our senses and elected the Last Honest Man Standing,

the hellish tide of the evil elite is too great for any one person to overcome, even a president, handcuffed as he would be by a corrupt Congress and business/financial community.
An informative article on those prospects can be found at:
http://www.prisonplanet.com/america%E2%80%99s-last-chance.html

We need a mega watt jolt to our systems.

Money Talks

After reading this article http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/bain-capital-owns-clear-channel-rush-limbaugh-sean-hannity-glenn-beck-michael-savage-etc it is no wonder that the neo-cons and their spokesmen are in the tank for mittbama and so dismissive and disparaging of Ron Paul, the one honest candidate in the mix.
All the more reason I have ceased watching FOX news. Needless to say, I haven't watched CNN or MSNBC in eons. The three main cable news networks whose talking heads may be symbolically represented thus:

Is it any wonder so many Americans are fed up with the propaganda that masquerades as objective news reporting?
