Happy New Year and blah, blah, blah.
Recently, I read an article about how the homicide rate in Washington D.C. had fallen dramatically during the past year. The police were quick to take credit with a claim of superior work and effort.
Yeah.
As if they suddenly decided to do their real job, i.e. protect the law abiding citizens, as opposed to victimizing those same citizens by spending their time handing out tickets for illegal parking or driving two miles an hour over the speed limit or for not wearing a seat belt, all the while avoiding any confrontations with the dope dealers, 7-Eleven robbers, and the other violent trash who impact the law abiding on a regular basis.
The Truth
, part 1
Amen, I say unto you: blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall vanquish the evildoers and fine peace in their castles.
, part 1Amen, I say unto you: blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall vanquish the evildoers and fine peace in their castles.
Last year, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Washington D.C. citizens who sought their constitutional right to bear (own) firearms. There was an immediate increase in gun sales as private citizens, who for years had been denied their constitutional rights by the local political elite, armed themselves in self defense.
Voila! One year later and we have a dramatic decrease in homicides in the District.
Fine police work?
Excuse me while I vomit.
How about: Tony the hood plans to break into your house and rob you. A dim wattage bulb goes off in Tony's compressed skull. Maybe you have a gun. Maybe you will shoot Tony. Maybe Tony will skip your house.
Tony will go after that old lady coming down the street instead. Then again, what if grandma is packing?
Tony doesn't know all the rules and regulations of gun ownership. After all, he has never bothered with formalities. But, he has heard that his would be innocent victims can now buy a gun. If they can buy one, they can have one with them. If they have one with them, they could use it. Tony might get shot. Oh, the horror.
Tony decides to go get a slice of pizza and try to think things over, to make sense of this terrible injustice to him and his fellow hoods.
Now, the Washingtonian criminal knows he may be fired at. He no longer holds all the cards. Such is the fruit of common sense.
The Truth, part 2
Contrary to politically correct thought so pervasive in our sick society, the towns of the old West were quite safe for law abiding citizens, certaintly safer than today's streets. Most killings involved desperadoes killing one another, usually by way of bushwacking or other underhanded methods, like waiting until a foe was drunk. The hoodlum element of the old West restricted violent activity, for the most part , to fellow hoods. This was because adults were allowed to carry firearms in full display if they so chose. Why take on a sober shooter when you could ambush old Pete or wait until he was under the table full of Kickapoo juice?
One didn't have to be a Wild Bill Hickok or an Annie Oakley to get the job done. Just buy a six shooter and learn how to use it. Your ability to def
end yourself
and your loved ones improved dramatically.

All adult citizens who are law abiding and willing, should be allowed to own and carry firearms. They would be required to take lessons in the proper use and care of the firearm and then pass a test to receive their license. Just like being allowed to drive a car. (By the way, last year over 50,000 people were killed in automobile accidents in the US of A. While we're at it, according to statistics gleamed from the Depts. of Justice and Health and Human Services, each year approximately 15,000 people die from falls, 8,500 die from accidental poisoning, and less than 12,000 die from gunshot, and those are mostly the result of police shootings and intra/inter gang shootings).
Also, statistics show less violent crime in locales that allow citizens to carry hand guns than places that prohibet same.
I submit that an armed and trained citizenry is the best way to reduce crime activity and provide protection for home and hearth.
The Truth, part 3
As if common hoodlums weren't enough to make one reach for old faithful, keep in mind the moors are coming. Just today, the news makes mention of 200 Christians massacred in Egypt by bloody moors because they were infidels. In Africa and Indonesia, thousands of Christians have been killed by moors because they were infidels. In the US of A, our government buries its head in the sands of political correctness. The Army report on the Fort Hood killings commited by a bloody moor make no mention of islam and don't even mention the shooter's name. Home grown terrorists are 'educated' in local mosques, which give financial support to overseas terrorists groups, and yet our government looks the other way. God forbid we should profile would be terrorists. Heaven forbid we should offend anyone. Children are taught in schools across the land about the high culture and merits of the moorish persuasion, but any mention of Christianity is verbotten.
The US of A will reap the whirlwind. We may not suffer an earthquake like the poor souls in Haiti, but we will suffer the results of surrendering our liberty to the violence of a foreign faith and the effete weakness inherent in political correctness.
