We recline in a stupor and decline at break neck speed. Life is good, we squeal as we watch the latest episode of Jersey Shore or imbibe a fresh draft of American Idol. Let's go shopping...and why are the millionaires so rich...I deserve some of that loot...oh, take another pill and wash it down with good old boy Jack Daniels. What's there to worry about? What's the big deal? Life is sooooo good.

And so it goes...our constitution and our freedom and liberties...our future, our very lives and all that we have left is our soul, and let's hope it's not too blackened like a peppered Louisiana catfish.
Our soul and whatever goodness it contains to summon the courage to combat the forces of darkness that continue their steady encirclement of our hearts and minds.
