Breathless

As Edmund Burke said, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." We now have a perfect opportunity for an object lesson to demonstrate this truth.
Democratic candidate for Senator from Pennsylvania, Joe Sestak, admits he was offered a job by the White House if he dropped out of the primary against Arlen Specter. Such an offer is illegal and constitutes an impeachable offense.
A lone congressman, Daniel Issa (R-CA), is calling for an independent investigator.
Now the White House has enlisted that self admitted perjurer and impeached president, Bill Clinton, to say he offered Sestak an obscure, unpaid job on some White House committee if Sestak decided to do something else with his life.
The mainstream media, of course, is unconcerned. A few conservative publications are trying to keep the story alive. But it is the public which will decide whether the latest gang of crooks in Washington will receive justice or not.
Personally, I am not holding my breath that there are enough good men to influence the outcome.
