"I do not fear an army of lions, if they are led by a lamb."
Thus spoke Alexander the Great, not a leader to be confused with our nation's contemporary 'leaders'.
Whether it's the anointed one giving a national address about the oil spill fiasco or the mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg, justifying the building of a giant mosque on the site of the 9/11 terror act in lower Manhattan, ("We have to, to show we're not biased."), I am saddened and sickened, but not surprised by our leaders' inability to tell the truth or make difficult decisions. Our foreign enemies must be licking their chops at the ineffective leaders we foist upon ourselves.
The anointed one promises that the British Petroleum company will pay for the entire cleanup as well as pay all damages. Of course, either action would force BP into bankruptcy. Let's face it, we, the taxpayers, will pay. All the anointed one is saying is basically, "I will gladly give you a solution tomorrow for your blind faith today, and by the way, I'll need your money too." He'll eliminate drilling our land and chase after pie in the sky alternative sources of energy, all the while making us more dependent on the nations that loathe us. Some day, they'll turn off the taps, both oil and money.
Mayor Bloomberg is saying, "Just let the moors have their mosque tomorrow for which they will gladly give us no bombs today." Of course, after the mosque desecrates the sacred ground where 3000 Americans were killed by other moors, the present day ones will use the mosque to teach the young'uns how to set the subway system on fire the day after tomorrow.
How the hell did we end up with such dishonest and un-American people in charge of our governments?
Unless there is an uprising in the near future, America is doomed. Maybe we deserve what we get. Maybe there's nothing we can do. I sure hope I am wrong, but things are beginning to spin out of control. Another disaster or two - natural or man made - and we may end up beyond the point of no return.
It may soon be time to head for the hills. Be prepared. The barbarians creep closer and our leaders sell their souls along with our future.
