At the Trough

The more I read about the corruption of our politicians -on both sides of the aisle- the more I get the urge to regurgitate. I fear we have gone to far down the road of ruin to turn back and recover our lost republic. There are too many factors weighing against a realistic chance to start afresh and secure a land of the free and a home of the brave the way our forefathers envisioned their posterity.
Sometimes I have to slap my face to remind myself that the Judeo-Christian heritage that I hold dear is fast becoming an anachronism for a majority of the American public. I am a stranger in my own land which has become, sad to say, a strange land in itself. Once a nation loses its religious bearings, the citizens fall out and devolve into a hedonistic frenzy. Community dissolves and we are left with a multicultural amalgam of competing interests and claimed rights.
We are there. An indifferent and selfish people being led by a corrupt class of plutocrats.
Nice article on our government plight:

Will we end up like the swine Jesus dealt with once upon a time?
