Let Them Eat Snow

Just dug out of the second 20+ inches snow storm in less than a week. Baltimore area has gotten over seven feet of snow so far this winter season, and we still have over a month of winter to go. The old one season snow total record of 62 inches has been shattered

After shoveling the white stuff all week and breaking my favorite Alpine shovel,
I know all I need to know about snow, but if you'd like to learn more about the subject visit http://nsidc.org/snow/faq.html .
On the sunnier side of the storms, the official opening of the new Federal Global Warming Office has been postponed due to blizzard conditions.

And, after four weeks of being buried under earthquake rubble, a Haitian man has been rescued. Rescuers can't explain the fact he survived. The man claims someone was bringing him water during his ordeal. He is thirty pounds lighter, but his wallet should fatten up. Sounds like an HBO movie special.
